The College has held this world-leading place in Performing Arts for the four successive years, while Music is a new subject introduced to the rankings in 2024.
The RCM is now looking to recruit a Faculty Assistant (Vocal & Opera). The successful applicant will be joining a lively and creative team in an exciting working environment. They will work closely with the Head & Deputy Head of Faculty, and Director of Opera, to support faculty classes, masterclasses, productions, open days and competitions as well as general administrative assistance to the Head & Deputy Head of Faculty and Director of Opera.
Some key aspects of this role include:
• Administering faculty class arrangements and RCM competitions
• Planning and running masterclasses
• Leave of absence processing
• Providing administrative support for faculty open days, staged productions, festivals and choirs
• Excellent communication and IT skills are required combined with the ability to balance a number of different tasks and to work effectively as part of a team
