Leo Black

Leo Black's twenty-eight years as a radio producer at the BBC came at a time of intense change for the organisation, while William Glock was Controller of Music. In this interview Leo gives us his personal account of how he was recruited to the BBC and subsequently how he honed his skills as a producer. Through his work Leo came into contact with many emigres, and he therefore gives us a unique insight into his experiences working with musicians such as Leo Wurmser, Paul Hamburger and Hans Keller.
