Our research is led by artistic practice, and many of the video and audio recordings embedded in these stories were made at the Royal College of Music. These stories reflect the work of several research and performance projects that have explored archives in Britain and abroad, produced sheet music editions and recordings of previously unknown works (also see our Featured Works section for those) and resulted in concert tours with RCM students and staff in the UK, Germany and on the Isle of Man. Names of migrant musicians mentioned in the stories are linked to their biographical profiles in the online resource. At the bottom of each page you will find references and suggested sources of further information.
