RCM Junior Fellowships 2014/15
Wednesday 8 January 2014
Applications are now invited for the RCM’s prestigious Junior Fellowships scheme.
Every year, the RCM awards a range of Junior Fellowships to outstanding young musicians as they set out into the profession. A Junior Fellowship gives young performers time and money to enhance their artistic skills and establish significant contacts as part of their professional development.
Junior Fellows play a dual role, contributing to the RCM community while also pursuing their own vocational paths. In Spring 2014, the current group of Junior Fellows have planned a series of fascinating concerts, including a tribute to Nadia Boulanger, an exploration of music and literature, and a celebration of symphonic piano transcriptions.
Applications are now invited for 2014/15 from outstanding young keyboard players for Junior Fellowships in Piano Accompaniment and Harpsichord/Continuo. Junior Fellowships are also offered for students on the RCM’s prestigious Artist Diploma programme; this will include a substantial contribution both to course fees and to living costs.
For more information and application details see the Fellowship website.
Closing date for applications is 31 January 2014.
