Join our research event at the RCM Museum for an interdisciplinary conversation on the earliest surviving stringed keyboard instrument.
Performers, musicologists, art historians and musical instrument makers will gather to explore its original context of use and repertoire, as well as its potential for new historically informed performances and artistic research.
The event will feature paper sessions, a masterclass discussion with performers and a final concert with the RCM students and the 1973 copy of this iconic instrument.
