The Royal College of Music is proud to offer some of the finest facilities anywhere in the world. We have Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall, Performance Hall, Performance Studio, Britten Theatre and two large orchestral and opera rehearsal rooms adding to our existing world-class stages and practice facilities.
Our impressive performance spaces are matched by top-quality academic and technical provisions, such as our extensive RCM Library can be found alongside our acclaimed RCM Museum, which houses one of the richest collections of music-related objects in the UK and Europe.

Our performance spaces
With two Steinway grand pianos, a new custom-built organ by Flentrop Orgelbouw and a seating capacity of 400, the Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall is the primary rehearsal and concert venue for RCM orchestras and large ensembles.
The Amaryllis Fleming Concert Hall has played host to many great names, including Richard Strauss, Jean Sibelius, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Benjamin Britten, Nicola Benedetti, Vladimir Ashkenazy and the late Bernard Haitink.

The new Performance Studio is an intimate venue for solo and chamber performance which seats 40 people.

Containing one of the richest collections of music-related objects in the UK and Europe, our Museum contains these treasures inspire teaching and research and host concerts and workshops.
Teaching and practise spaces
Wolfson Centre
The Wolfson Centre in Music & Material Culture (WCMM) facilitates research and access to the RCM’s collections by RCM Professors, students and external researchers, as well as delivering object-based learning to small classes and groups. The WCMM also includes a conservation workshop, climate-controlled on-site storage for our collections and a dedicated area for consultation, documentation and digitisation.
Our latest addition is Control Room 3, also known as the Digital Innovation Lab. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a Dolby Atmos 7.1.4 spatial audio monitoring system, an Avid S6 control console and Dante AoIP technology for live recording and multitracking performances. The studio also supports a range of software including Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live 11 Suite and Dorico, and allows for Dolby Atmos panner control and workflows for immersive mixing. The audio infrastructure is built around an Avid MTRX, and the Control Room contains a DAD AX32.
