Come and experience what life is like at the Royal College of Music. Our annual Open Day is a chance for prospective students and parents to explore what the College has to offer.

The Royal College of Music will hold its next annual Open Day on Wednesday 29 April 2026. Our Open Day is primarily aimed at those looking to start at the RCM in September 2027.

The day will be filled with a dynamic and engaging programme, including:

Faculty introductions and practical workshops
Open recording sessions and performance simulator live demonstrations
Chamber music concert and specialist vocal masterclass
Student-led tours, information stands and sessions such as 'How to Apply'

Visit the Royal College of Music Museum

The Royal College of Music Museum contains the earliest known guitar, the earliest stringed keyboard instrument and the most recognised portraits of Joseph Haydn and Farinelli.

Following a £3.6million investment from Heritage Lottery Fund, the Museum has undergone a complete redevelopment and opened to the public in October 2021.
