What to expect from our Open Day
In 2023, over 400 visitors enjoyed a dynamic programme of activities designed to showcase the best of undergraduate and postgraduate study at the Royal College of Music.
Highlights from the day included:
- Student-led lunchtime Chamber concert
- Vocal masterclass with soprano Angela Gheorghiu
- Individual Faculty taster sessions
- Open lesson observations
- Open rehearsals with the RCM Jazz Orchestra
- Information fair
…and much more.
Visitors to our 2024 Open Day can expect a similarly high-calibre programme, with bespoke events, workshops and masterclasses planned to provide in-depth insight into life at the RCM. A formal timetable for the day will be released in due course.
If you’re considering studying at the RCM from September 2025, you are now able to register your place at our Open Day in May. Visit the Royal College of Music Museum
The Royal College of Music Museum contains the earliest known guitar, the earliest stringed keyboard instrument and the most recognised portraits of Joseph Haydn and Farinelli.
Following a £3.6million investment from Heritage Lottery Fund, the Museum has undergone a complete redevelopment and opened to the public in October 2021.
