Principal Bass Trombone of the Norwegian Radio Orchestra, Clare Farr, leads a masterclass with talented Royal College of Music brass musicians.
Born in Stockport, England, Clare Farr moved to Jørpeland, Norway in 1989, where she opted for the louder, more social life of the bass trombonist. She has held long-term positions with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and Norrköping Symphony Orchestras, and has regularly worked with many Norwegian and European orchestras and ensembles.
Clare is active as a conductor, teacher and adjudicator in the Norwegian brass and wind band community, and is a member of Norsk Tromboneensemble. Her first solo-album Loudmouthed Beauty was released in 2022.
