Elliot Mercer

Elliot is a conductor, singer, and teacher, known for his musical and engaging work with singers across a range of ages and experience levels. He currently works as Head of Co-Curricular Music at Francis Holland School, Sloane Square, together with ensembles including the National Children’s Choir of Great Britain, Bookham Choral Society and Holy Trinity Church, Guildford. 

Elliot studied conducting and singing at the University of Birmingham, the national choral charity, Sing for Pleasure and Vocal Health Education. Recently, he has enjoyed working as a vocal leader at organisations including London Youth Choirs, Tenebrae, Vache Baroque and London Youth Conservatoire. Additionally he has worked with Sing for Pleasure as Executive Assistant and Crouch End Festival Chorus as their Young Conducting Scholar. Elliot is regularly in demand across the country to lead singing workshops, work with choirs and teach singing across a variety of ages and backgrounds.

Aside from music, he enjoys reading, honing his bouldering skills and refereeing football, but has never quite managed to incorporate singing into his game management.
